Preschool Teacher Afternoon Aide
At Noah’s Ark Learning Center, we are in search of a caring and supportive Preschool Teacher Afternoon Aide who genuinely adores children and is always ready to assist both our teachers and students. This individual should thrive in the delightful company of children and possess an unwavering enthusiasm for guiding each student toward their triumphs.
This role is Monday through Friday, with no requirement for nights or weekends. Moreover, we proudly offer childcare services for your little one aged between 3 and 5.
The compensation provided for this rewarding role ranges from $14 per hour, depending on experience.
About the Role
The Preschool Teacher Classroom Aide is a part-time or full-time position with the following responsibilities:
Assist other afternoon staff during school hours
Help prepare snacks and monitor clean up
Assist in managing classroom behavior and enforcing rules
Sing songs, play games, read books
Assist with set up and clean-up of classroom for the next school day
Help monitor students and recognize potential classroom problems
Clean bathrooms, vacuum classrooms & hallways, clean & disinfect toys weekly
Closing duties, such as closing and locking all windows and doors, take out trash, setting the alarm
Attend training sessions as necessary to maintain license and ICCP certification.
Other duties as assigned by Director
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education: High school diploma but not required (with Director’s approval)
Age: Must be at least 18 years of age
Experience: Preferred but not necessary
Personal Qualities: Professing Christian, kind, helpful, self-starters, professional, and creative
License: Must hold or obtain a childcare license from the city of Coeur d’Alene, including a valid CPR/first aid card, and passing a background check

Noah’s Ark Learning Center is a ministry of Pathway Church and has been in operation in North Idaho for four decades. It is one of the most highly respected preschool, pre-kindergarten and kindergarten learning centers in Couer d’Alene.
